Born in 1959, Dennis Chambers started to 'hit' the drums at the age of 4. After playing in Parliament/ Funkadelic for 7 years, he worked with guitarist John Scofield for a long time. Chambers, who draws attention with his unique technique, speed and 'groove', is known to be a unique accompaniment to jazz-fusion, funk and Latin music. Chambers has also performed with George Duke, the Brecker Brothers, Santana, John McLaughlin, Mike Stern and others.
